Operational Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation of the Effluent Treatment Plant during the assigned shift.
- Monitor and control the treatment processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, instrumentation, and systems to identify and address any issues promptly.
- Troubleshoot operational problems and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain uninterrupted plant operations.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to schedule and perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities.
Supervisory Duties:
- Provide leadership and direction to shift personnel, including operators and technicians.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and capabilities.
- Train new employees on plant procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to ensure productivity and adherence to standards.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and accountability among shift staff.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Conduct safety meetings and drills to promote awareness and adherence to safety procedures.
- Investigate incidents or accidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to plant operations, safety inspections, and regulatory compliance.
Communication and Coordination:
- Communicate effectively with other Shift Leaders, supervisors, and management to ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
- Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance, engineering, and quality assurance to address operational issues and optimize plant performance.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and participate in audits and inspections as required.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Implement best practices and innovative technologies to enhance plant performance and sustainability.
- Participate in training and professional development activities to stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in Effluent Treatment technology.
