Smelter - Electrical Technician (Walk In Interview - Jakarta)

Amman Mineral Industri at Sumbawa Island in Indonesia has a Smelter complex where Copper concentrate, received from the Batu Hijau mines, is converted through a process of smelting and electro refining to copper cathodes of specified purity for shipment to customers. Sulphuric acid and precious metals such as gold, silver and selenium are produced as by products for sale to customers. The operations require a Raw Material Handling Plant (MHP) for receiving, storing and blending the copper concentrate and Utilities to support operations. 

Some of your duties will include:

• Executing preventive maintenance and shutdown plan of assigned electrical equipment of the Electro Refinery (ER) and precious Metal Refinery (PMR) to maximise machine contribution, plant availability and uptime
• Implementing SOPs and WIs with respect to maintenance of electrical  equipment under jurisdiction 
• Implementing predictive maintenance schedule of assigned electrical equipment
• Implementing safety guidelines for electrical maintenance to contribute to the achievement of targeted safety indices to achieve zero harm 
• Using stipulated PPE 
• etc

Requirements:

• Diploma Engineer/ Trade certificate in Electrical Engineering
• 3-5 years in Electrical maintenance of process plants
• Basic knowledge of MV & LV Transformers,switch gears, ESPs, Servo motors and drives, Variable frequency drives, relay coordination and protection, motors, PCC and MCC, earthing systems, cranes etc
• Capability for Troubleshooting of electrical equipment
• Knowledge of Inspection, repair & wiring of electrical equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams,schematics and manual related to MV/LV electrical equipment
• Skilled in using different type of electrical equipment
• Fluency in both written and spoken English; and computer literate
• Willing to locate on site at Sumbawa Barat.
