What your daily workday looks like:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure Software Quality
- Monitor the testing progress of the deliveries and report to team members viz PM, Developers etc.
- Conduct thorough testing of new app and website features
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure resolution of identified issues
- Support team in investigating and providing root cause analysis
- Identify, document, and report bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in software performance
- Work with the development team to ensure that the app builds/versions being produced cover the correct features and bug fixes
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve usability and functionality
- Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Quality Assurance
Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years experiences in hands-on software testing, Quality Assurance, or a similar role
- Familiarity with common software testing methods and tools
- A strong sense of responsibility and a good team player
- Proficiency in various testing methodologies and tools
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively with teammates
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience in the F&B industry
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
- Experience with automated testing tools.
