Jobtitle Overview:
Carry out ex-post supervisory functions through the implementation of Special Audit activities based on information received regarding events, cases, and/or issues that occur in accordance with applicable policies/manuals to support the institution's objectives.
Responsibilities:
1. Analyzing the business strategy, work plan and budget of the Division and implementing them.
2. Conduct periodic reviews of policies/manuals/SOP related to Special Audit activities.
3. Carry out Special Audits based on information received regarding events/cases that occurred as per the applicable policy/manual.
4. Coordinate the implementation of audits/inspections by other agencies/institutions/supervisors.
5. Maintain the independence, confidentiality and objectivity of the implementation of Special Audit activities.
6. Ensuring the achievement of individual performance targets.
7. Ensure that all operational activities refer to the good corporate governance principles.
8. Assist in the fulfillment of follow-up audit findings.
9. Carry out other duties and responsibilities in accordance with the instructions and needs of the institution
Qualifications:
1. Minimum graduate from any reputable university. Post-graduation will be an added advantage.
2. Minimal 4 years of experience in banking and/or financial institutions as auditor.
3. Have good Knowledge and understanding of: LPEI Products & Operation, Regulation and Law and Investigation.
4. Professional Qualification in risk management, CIA or QIA is preferred.
