Sr. Cyber Security Analyst-Penetration Tester

Under limited supervision responsible for creating cyber-intelligence solutions to prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce and web-based systems. Implements technologies deployed across application, network/perimeter, data, endpoint, identity & access, and mobility domains.  Researches attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security and provides countermeasure recommendations. Provides information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information and systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Four (4) years of experience in IT information security.    
Job Specific Information:
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and can manage multiple projects from the ground up with minimal oversight. It will also require experience with Application Development, Penetration Testing, and Good understanding of Cyber Security Standards.
This job will involve evaluating software attack surface, cyber threat modeling, software code analysis for secure coding.  Developing quantitative and qualitative risk metrics. Developing and validating information security standards on mobile applications, windows thick clients, web, and APIs. Manual and automated penetration testing. Vulnerability Assessment. Reviewing and proposing changes to software architecture. Building governance around software life cycle management from design through deprecation phase. Handling and responding to security incidents.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:

• Application development experience in major languages like Java or .net.
• DevSecOps and CI/CD experience
• Scripting and querying skills to investigate and analyze data in various formats- raw logs, database, SIEM/Splunk etc.
• Understand NIST,OWASP or similar security frameworks.
• Certifications in Ethical Hacking and Pentesting are considered plus

•  Desired location for this position would be Collierville, TN and Plano, TX however, this position may be located anywhere within the United States.

Salary Range Estimate: Monthly Salary: $7,379.00 - $13,140.00. This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role.
