We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our client's team in Jakarta. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and optimization of complex data infrastructure and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the implementation of scalable data solutions and ensure the availability, integrity, and security of data assets.

Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration workflows to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
Architect and implement data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts to support advanced data analysis and reporting.
Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation, cleansing, and profiling techniques.
Optimize and fine-tune database queries, processes, and data models for performance and scalability.
Define and implement data security and privacy measures in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues and provide technical guidance and support.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and advancements in Data Engineering technologies and practices.
Mentor and guide junior and medior Data Engineers, fostering their growth and technical development.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Data Engineering processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5-8 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong background in Data Engineering and architecture.
Extensive knowledge of Data Engineering concepts, best practices, and data management principles.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
Expertise in data integration tools and frameworks such as Apache Kafka or Apache Nifi.
Strong programming skills in at least one language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
Deep understanding of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Experience in designing and implementing data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
Must be able to work on-site in Jakarta.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with data orchestration and workflow management tools such as Apache Airflow or Luigi.
In-depth knowledge of data governance, data quality management, and metadata management.
Familiarity with advanced data analytics and machine learning techniques.
Understanding of data visualization tools and techniques.
Experience with agile methodologies and working in agile teams.
