Job Description:
- Responsible for worldwide inbound shipments coordination with suppliers, forwarders, customs, buyers, PM, site warehouse receiving and other stakeholders
- Involve in forwarders’ KPI tracking, QBR and freight quality control
- Responsible for freight spend reports analysis & accrual reporting to Finance on monthly basis
- Work with site stakeholders for freight optimization initiatives to improve logistics efficiency and reduced freight spend
- Act as the main contact window between Plexus Bangkok Site and freight forwarders on all the shipment issues, cargo discrepancies and etc
- Review and verify freight bills from Logistics Service Providers to ensure accurate billing and payments
- Manage freight exception and drive for cost recovery
- Support all the ad hoc needs from stakeholders on freight request, eg: freight cost advice, shipping instruction guidelines, special delivery arrangement and problem solving
- Support in the implementation for complying with Customs regulatory for Thailand
- Be the Subject Matter Expert for IEAT-FZ and mapping the functional areas/ processes to enable Plexus Bangkok individual and teams to be in compliant with IEAT requirement.
- Be the liaison person with other government agencies – Customs, NBTC, DIW (Department of Industrial Works) and etc.
- Generate and submit IEAT monthly report and reconciliation of raw materials in system
- Apply IEAT permit through e-PP online tool for various transactions: IEAT-I-01, IEAT-I-02 and etc.
- Support related compliance audit efforts for import/export Bangkok operations
- Classify and maintenance of Thailand HS codes & ECCN (Export Classification Control Number) in JDE of all products
- Interact, coach and manage the performance of Plexus Bangkok appointed customs brokers
- Close communication with stakeholders (Finance & Program) for customs activities
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management or related fields.
- 5+ years of related experience
- Customs & Trade compliance experience is an advantage
- Customer Management and Financial experience is an advantage
- Computer literacy in MRP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project are required
- Employee must be self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good oral and written communication skills in Thai and English
- Strong Negotiation & Analytic skills
- Excellent Problem-solving skills
