The Sustainability Steward supports maintaining the cleanliness of all hotel china, silverware, and cookware. This person must have great verbal and written communication skills, basic mathematical reasoning, as well refined organizational skills. In addition, this individual must be able to lift, pull and push a moderate amount of weight (50lbs). This is a fast paced position that will involve constant team works interactions. The most qualified candidate for this role is passionate about sustainability: reducing waste, supporting our team's recycling and composting efforts, and is the ambassador/representative for Stewarding for our hotel's sustainability efforts.
The hourly rate for this position is $24.25. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who remain in the position for four years, which is $24.74. This position may also have a lead role, based on experienced, at $25.25/hour. For those colleagues who have remained as a lead steward for four years, the established rate is $25.76/hour.
