Job Description

This position involves managing the maintenance and engineering team, ensuring the reliability of equipment, and coordinating engineering projects to maintain and improve LNG Facility operations. To develop and implement maintenance program of the plant and to ensure that all plant equipment and auxiliaries achieve optimum reliability and performance and minimize downtime.

Some of your duties will include:

• Oversee the planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities for all LNG Facility equipment, including LNG storage tanks, compressors, pumps, and vaporizers.

• Ensure adherence to maintenance schedules and compliance with safety standards.

• Reviewing plant equipment performance in accordance with the established Company goals and objectives.

• Initiate plans, policies and procedures for improving work efficiency, safety practices and on-going. training in the ME department.

• Initiate maintenance Program and Monitor plan effectiveness and recommend changes as required.

• Plans and implements the LNG Facility plant’s turn around program and sees to it that materials, spare parts and consumables are at hand and execution of activities are within the schedule.

• In relations with the function, he will act as WAKIL KEPALA TEKNIK if needed and requested by the KATEK.

• Coordinate and manage engineering projects aimed at improving the safety, reliability and efficiency of LNG Facility equipment.

• Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement solutions for equipment upgrades and modifications.

• Ensure the integrity and reliability of LNG Facility assets through regular inspections, condition monitoring, and risk assessments.

• Implement measures to extend the lifecycle of critical equipment.

• Enforce a strong safety culture within the maintenance and engineering teams.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental requirements.

• Execute health, security, environmental and safety rules and regulations of the company.

• Supervises the maintenance crafts assigned in the plant (mechanical, electrical, welder, NDT, instrument, DCS and laborers).

• Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, engineers, and support staff.

• Foster a positive work environment and provide guidance for professional development.

• Evaluates the training needs of the maintenance personnel and coordinate with HR.

• Manage contractors / service providers during routine and planned outage work.

• Lead and manage a team of operations personnel, including shift supervisors, operators, and technicians.

• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and engineering projects.

• Prepare and submit regular reports on maintenance and engineering activities, including project progress and key performance indicators.

• Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, safety, and finance, to ensure effective communication and coordination of activities.

• Participate in cross-functional teams for major projects and initiatives.

• Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance and engineering staff.

• Ensure that the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

-National - Site Based

-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or a relevant technical discipline. Advanced degree or relevant certifications would be preferred.

-Holder of valid Pengawas K3 Migas Utama certificate preferred.

-Minimum 15 years of extensive experience in LNG Facility or LNG Liquefaction operations or a similar process industry. With 5 years of experience in a leadership role

-In-depth understanding of LNG Facility equipment, maintenance practices, and engineering principles.

-Familiarity with reliability-centred maintenance (RCM) or Risk Based Maintenance methodologies.

-Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to lead a diverse team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

-Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

-Demonstrated commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of safety regulations.

-Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and resource allocation.

-Good computer skills, be able to operate Microsoft Office, and any related gas plant software.

-Good communication skill both verbal and in writing, specifically in English language

-Maintains a valid car driver's license.

-Willing to be based at site with regular working days (no roster schedule); Possibility to relocate family.
