Some of your duties will include:
- Responsible for strategic maintenance planning, optimizing asset reliability and availability, overseeing maintenance activities and personnel, ensuring safety and procedural compliance, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
- To manage and lead the LNG power plant maintenance team to ensure required plant availability and reliability is achieved in a safe, efficient, economical, and environmentally sound manner whilst complying with company policies, procedures and regulations.
- Ensures safe work practices and procedures are observed and the LOTO/PTW rules/procedures are being followed.
- Propose new procedure to ensure effective and efficient LNG Power Plant.
- Report on every hazard, accident or incident.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Develop and upgrade maintenance strategic plans to cover life of asset requirements on a timely basis.
- Deploy maintenance life plans for LNG Power assets based on criticality and using reliability centered maintenance techniques.
- Optimizes the availability of LNG Power assets by ensuring that planned downtime is kept to the minimum required.
- Optimizes the reliability of LNG Power assets by ensuring unplanned downtime is investigated and driven towards zero.
- Maintain maintenance performance by monitoring appropriate indicators with timely reporting.
- Responsible for monitoring activities of contract maintenance personnel during outage/overhauls and in day to day operations.
- Liaises and coordinates with stakeholders to ensure they are fully informed of maintenance activities to ensure timely and proper outcomes occur.
- Participate in internal and external improvement initiatives outside of the immediate department’s needs as required from time to time.
- Lead the development, implementation, and control of maintenance procedures.
- Responsible to prepare 1-year and 5-year ahead maintenance budget in a timely manner.
- Optimize the costs of maintaining LNG power assets by improving maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Responsible for the continued development, management and evaluation of manpower, operating and capital projects and budgets for the LNG Power Maintenance team.
- Manage and develop staff including setting objectives, performance management, training & coaching, succession plan, and handling industrial issues.
- Build strong expertise in own field, clearly understand own and team objectives/goal, and deliver consistent high performance.
- Manage environmental performance improvement programs including energy conservation, water conservation, resources conservation, waste reduction, contaminant load reduction.
- Accept personal responsibility for the health and safety of every worker under or assigned to his/her supervision.
- Responsibility for the safety operation of all facilities, infrastructures, plants, and equipment assigned to his/her supervision.
What skills and experience do you need?
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 15 years’ related experiences.
- Have minimum 5 years’ experiences in leadership level in similar role in LNG Power Plant.
- Deep Knowledge of all areas of maintenance (mechanical, electrical, C&I, machining, welding and planning).
- Competency and knowledge of the basic plant layout, equipment and systems of a LNG power plant.
- Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) sufficient to undertake this role.
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.
- Strong computer skills and be competent in all Microsoft Office software programs, as well as project-specific software.
- Strong leadership and a people-oriented outlook.
- good in coaching/mentoring; good analytical; conflict resolution.
- Maintains a valid car driver's license.
