Job Responsibility:
This role is responsible for supervising appropriate storage and inventory management with respect to Bin Items for the Smelter, Electro Refinery, Sulphuric Acid Plant, Precious Metal Refinery as well as Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) to match business requirement and expectations of internal customers while adhering to statutory regulations, health-safety-environment norms and quality certification compliances.
- To supervise stores and inventory management matching business requirement in compliance with standard operating procedures, quality protocols and statutory stipulations with focus on storage and issue Bin Items.
- To supervise corresponding documentation and generation of reports for on time ordering.
- Supervising storage and issue of Bin Items
- Supervising accurate and on time inventory posting
- Supervising implementation of SOPs and Delegation of Authority (DOA) for storage, inventory management and documentation of Bin Items
- Supervising compliance with security, health, safety, environmental norms as well as statutory regulations during the unloading operations
- Identifying the areas for improvement and implementing continuous improvement with respect to areas under jurisdiction
Job Requirement:
• Degree/ Diploma in Metallurgical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Chemical or Electrical Engineering
• M.B.A. or Diploma in Materials Management or Supply Chain Management
• 8-10 years in procurement in process plants with at least 2-3 years of experience in leading teams
• Understanding of Engineering Drawings and equipment specification
• Understanding of process plants and utilities
