- Sushi Preparation: Prepare sushi rice, slice fish and other seafood, and assemble sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and other sushi dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all sushi dishes meet the restaurant's quality standards in terms of taste, freshness, and appearance. Monitor ingredients for freshness and quality, and discard any items that do not meet standards.
- Sanitation and Safety: Adhere to all sanitation and safety procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels of sushi ingredients, such as fish, rice, seaweed, and sauces.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff, including chefs, sous chefs, and line cooks, to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely service.
