Sustainability Manager - Placement In Nabire Papua

Job description:

• To develop EHS cooperate strategic direction, compliance, policy and SOP for all estate, mill, support functions and assess its effectiveness towards meeting the corporate goals and strategies
• To ensure the setting up of monitoring systems for reporting EHS, performance / regulatory compliances for all business operation, review of progress and deriving action plans for improvements where necessary
• Identify hazards within operations & business activities on ongoing and proactive basis. Assess and prioritize risk from identified hazard, risk and opportunities. Develop action plan for significant EHS risks, hazards and opportunities and identify resources to execute and incorporate into EHS objectives and plans.
• Risk Management & Reporting
• Prepare short term and medium to long term EHS, conservation & climate change activity plans to achieve the goals
• To verify / coordinate the budgets for RO and all business operation. Submit proposals and obtain necessary internal approvals for implementation
• Build and maintain effective relations with all pressure groups including villagers, NGOs etc to have positive feedback and conducive environment
• To ensure and work under the guidelines of RSPO/ ISPO/ ISO 14001/ OHSAS 18001, conservation, climate to achieve the standard regulation and compliance
• Execute EHS audits and internal assessments
• Provide and facilitate training and certification to all related employees in order to have license to operate
• To coach, mentor and advise all staff to build their capability to improve and sustain EHS excellence.
