Technical Services Executive - Thread Footwear (Bogor)

Qualifications   :

• Minimum Diploma degree level (D3), preferably majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Textile/Leather Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in the technical areas of stitching industry.
• Good product knowledge.
• Good technical knowledge & know how on apparel or footwear & accessories business.
• Prior experience in apparel or footwear & accessories manufacturing / QA / Technical.
• Prior working experience in technical or technical sales in other leading supplier, e.g.: sewing machine or needle supplier, etc.
• Prior working experience in the sewing mechanics.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to understand challenges
• Self-starter with good communication skills
• Proficiency in English both speaking and writing·
• Self-motivated and eager for improvements.
• Strong initiatives, able to set the planning and priorities, and complete the task independently
• Willing to placement in Bogor, West Java.

Role Purpose     :

• To provide quality Technical Services to brands and customers in structural components business.
• To support the Global footwear Technical goals conducting training, seminar, product recommendation, development, and trials. 
• To support the sales team to develop a profitable sales argument in favor of the Coats offer for thread.  

Key Activities    :

• Provide Sewing and Structural component support and problem solving for customers
• Technical service support to Buyers/ Buying Offices/Customers
• Provide technical training – internal and external, seminars, workshops, PES, technical presentations on company, product/brand promotion. 
• Provide Technical Audits, consumption and product analysis as required
• Build close relationships and support sales team to develop sales of high value products
• Support all activities for testing or implementation of Global Technical Initiatives
• Support the Thread new developments. 
• Reporting
• Report to direct manager for key issues as they arise.
• Provide on time weekly Technical Reports Direct manager copied to Asia Manager
