PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $83,300-$101,700 annually. The full Pay Range is $64,600-$120,600 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training.
Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant.
Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

What You’ll Do :
Project Leadership : Spearhead multiple information-development projects, ensuring they run smoothly from start to finish.
You'll be the driving force in setting milestones and delivering results.
- Content Mastery : Craft and refine a diverse range of materials, including knowledge base articles, user manuals, and more, to ensure clarity and ease of use for our users.
- User-Centric Design : Develop content plans and specifications that resonate with users, hosting technical reviews and using test environments to perfect content delivery.
- Advocacy Through Clarity : Be the voice of our users, creating content that avoids confusion and speaks directly to their needs.
- Responsive Support : Efficiently manage content service requests and incorporate user feedback to continually improve our content's relevance and accessibility.
- Knowledge Expert : Stay ahead of the curve in technical communications and knowledge management, maintaining your expertise in BECU's systems and tools.
- Additional Responsibilities : Embrace and excel in additional duties, contributing to the team's success.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Technical Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work or educational experience.
- At least two years of professional technical writing experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
- Experience in HTML and familiarity with structured authoring techniques.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with MadCap Flare or similar CMS.
- Expertise in leading content development projects.
- Continued education or professional certification in knowledge management or technical communications.
