Candidate would be responsible for answering multiple phone lines, answering questions and helping direct callers to the appropriate individual or department within the organization. In these instances, Telephone Operators must use critical thinking skills to figure out the best way to help the caller and provide them with the necessary information and connection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
- Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
- Follow communication when handling different topics
- Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile
- Keep records of all conversation in a comprehensible way
- On handling calls, candidate must be professional, knowledgeable, and patient in their interactions with customers
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience as operator or relatable position
- Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
