Underwriting Officer

Qualifications :

• Bachelor Degree in Insurance or related major
• Min. 2 years working experience as Underwriting in General Insurance
• Have good knowledge of underwriting regulations
• At least have AAAIK certificate
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail, excellent problem solving, and decision making skills
• Can join as soon as possible

Job Description :

• Organizing, analyzing, reviewing and providing underwriting decisions in the risk acceptance process
• Evaluate insurance applications to determine the level of risk associated with insuring individuals, businesses, or assets
• Providing underwriting decisions (acceptance, rate, terms & Conditions of Coverage) in accordance with determined acceptance limits, SOP, underwriting guideline and treaty
• Provide suggestions and recommendations based on the situation and conditions of a risk
