Responsibilities:
- Provide a friendly welcome to customers and guide them to the table.
- Provide information about the menu and answer customer questions.
- Serving food and drinks in a professional manner.
- Take orders from customers accurately and efficiently.
- Provide recommendations on dishes and drinks based on menu knowledge.
- Set up tables prior to customer arrival, including cutlery arrangement and plate layout.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of tables during customer use.
- Maintain monitoring of the state of the table and ensure timely service.
- Manage order sequence and coordinate with kitchen to ensure orders are served concurrently.
- Receive payments from customers and give accurate change (if required).
- Handle credit card transactions or digital payments.
- Maintain cleanliness in the service area and around tables.
- Cleans tables and ensures that chairs and cutlery are always clean.
- Understand the restaurant menu well and be able to provide detailed information to customers.
- Update knowledge about new dishes, promos, or menu changes.
- Communicate well with the kitchen team and other staff.
- Work together in busy situations to ensure smooth service.
- Respond politely to customer complaints or concerns and promptly report to management when necessary.
- Understand and follow etiquette and etiquette.
