Waiter/Waitress (Surabaya)

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they arrive and provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

• Deliver excellent customer service and hospitality.

• Take food and beverage orders and ensure accuracy of customer requests.

• Upsell and cross-sell available products including retail and merchandise.

• Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely and efficient manner.

• Ensure guests have everything they need, including utensils, napkins, and condiments.

• Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff and bar staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly.

• Handle cash, EDC, QRIS, and other payment transactions.

• Answer customer questions and provide recommendations for menu items.

• Clear and clean tables after customers have finished their meals.

• Set up and organize tables and dining areas.

• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling and storage of food and beverage products.

Requirements

• Hospitality high school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a customer service role preferred.

• Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques and etiquette.

• Familiar with POS systems and other computerized sales tools.

• Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Able to work effectively as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Speak English at a conversational level.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic math skills and proficiency in operating cash registers.

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Able to join immediately.

• Currently living in Surabaya is preferred.
