Warehouse Accountant

The role of a Warehouse Accountant involves overseeing various aspects of warehouse operations with a focus on financial management and accurate record-keeping

Job Description:

• Responsible for updating the status of goods, monitoring the quantity and quality of goods entering and leaving the warehouse.
• Preparation and documentation of warehouse invoices and receipts
• Set the placement of goods according to the expiration date, category, SKU.
• Collaborating with the warehouse keeper to accurately audit the quantity of goods.
• Implement and manage inventory control measures to prevent losses and track stock movement.
• Collaborate with other departments to exchange information on stock levels, identifying remaining stock, dead stock, and stock rejections.
• Generate daily reports detailing stock activities, including incoming and outgoing goods.
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information for decision-making.
• Responsible for warehouse 6S management.
• Undertake any additional tasks or projects assigned by the department head.
• Adapt to changing requirements and contribute to overall warehouse and financial objectives.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field is required.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) is considered advantageous.
• Essential to have knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP systems. 
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment, especially in the production and packaging of products, is preferred. 
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. This is essential for data analysis, reporting, and communication within the organization.
• Attention to detail helps in avoiding errors, while precision ensures accurate financial reporting.
