Job Summary:
To control and ensure movement of incoming and outgoing materials and offsite material management based on regulations. Ensure warehouse condition based on best practice warehouse management application.
Responsibilities:
- Able to control material activities and administrations
- Able to control offsite material management
- Provide item codes for purchase orders and determine their categories so that all goods can be inventoried in an orderly manner
- Maintain standard item code for Merdeka and subsidiaries
- To accurately input data related to product description in the inventory system as well as maintain accurate information and inventory
- To investigate, identify, and reconcile the cycle count discrepancies,i.e., shortages as well as overages
- To audit the process along with paper flow errors and try to spot the inconsistencies that affect the accuracy of the inventories
- To take care of the Hub areas by organizing and maintaining efficient material handling and storage
- To implement and maintain policies and procedures related to inventory control
- Coordinate the appropriate processing of various purchase requisitions, receiving reports, purchase orders, inventory requisitions, etc
- Prepare reports of inventory balance and use computer applications and database management to perform the assigned work effectively
- To work in tandem with various departments and maintain a flexible attitude supporting all the work that helps in achieving organizational
- Manage performance reporting across all aspects of logistics, including budget, service levels, and compliance
- Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements, also put safety at the top of all activity
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or inventory management environment, preferably in the mining industry or a similar heavy industry setting.
- Familiarity with warehouse layout, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles, cycle counting, and stock reconciliation procedures.
- Understanding of shipping logistics, packing and labeling procedures, and transportation regulations.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and basic computer skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and resolve warehouse and inventory issues quickly and efficiently.
- Familiarity with mining equipment, materials, and processes may be beneficial.
- Willing to be relocated to Surabaya, East Java.
