Warehouse Operations Manager (Brastagi)

Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Management:
  • Oversee day-to-day Warehouse Operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics coordination.
  • Implement best practices to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
• Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a high-performing and motivated team.
  • Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Inventory Control:
  • Develop and implement effective inventory control procedures, including cycle counting, stock rotation, and regular audits.
  • Monitor and report on inventory levels, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Logistics Coordination:
  • Collaborate with logistics partners to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and enhance delivery efficiency.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the integrity of agricultural products during storage and transit.
  • Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Technology Integration:
  • Explore and implement warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technologies to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Leverage technology to track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines for Warehouse Operations.
  • Conduct regular safety training sessions and promote a culture of safety within the warehouse.
• Cost Management:
  • Develop and manage budgets for Warehouse Operations, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Monitor and analyze key cost metrics to optimize financial performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in warehouse management within the agriculture or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, logistics, and distribution processes.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in Warehouse Operations.
