Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing Waste Management strategies specific to the pulp and paper industry.
- Monitoring waste streams, including chemicals, by-products, and process residues, to identify opportunities for waste reduction, recycling, and reuse.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to implement waste treatment and disposal processes that comply with environmental regulations.
- Managing waste-related permits, records, and reporting requirements.
- Conducting audits and assessments to ensure compliance with Waste Management standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of pulp and paper manufacturing processes and associated waste streams.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations related to Waste Management in the pulp and paper industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement waste reduction initiatives.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and regulatory authorities.
