Fixed.net offers website support and maintenance, with a special focus on WordPress support. Customers come to us with a variety of issues, which can often be simple, but sometimes they are fiendishly difficult. We handle a lot of one-time fixes (malware cleanups, theme upgrades, speed optimizations), but we also do ongoing maintenance (which includes regular updates but also tweaks and ongoing changes).
Responsibilities:
#Client Onboarding and Site Migration
- Perform seamless onboarding of new clients through a task/email system, ensuring clear communication and efficient management of the transition process.
- Responsible for the creation of staging/testing websites
#Comprehensive Site Audit and Maintenance
- Conduct thorough site audits, updating the site comprehensively, primarily within the staging environment as needed to ensure stability and performance.
- Perform site optimization tasks, including but not limited to, implementing caching solutions, image compression techniques, and installing and configuring security plugins to enhance site functionality and security.
#Ongoing Site Monitoring
- Regularly check the site's monitoring system and respond promptly to any alerts or issues that arise, ensuring optimal site performance and health.
#Proactive Site Updates
- Regularly perform updates to websites, including WP core, themes, and plugins, to ensure the site remains secure and functional at all times.
#Customer Interaction and Support
- Engage with clients via our task/email system for onboarding and ongoing support, requiring strong written communication skills along with a customer-centric approach.
Requirements:
- Robust understanding of WordPress, including site migration, staging environments, and website optimization techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with website security best practices and experience in handling updates.
- Excellent communication skills, adept at using task/email systems for client interaction, and prepared to handle client interactions through chats and phone calls.
- Basic hosting experience is a must, with a strong preference given to candidates who possess extensive hosting experience, including SSH skills, which will be considered a significant advantage.
Our office is located in Bali and physical presence is required.
