Accounting Manager - Agribusiness Industry

The Accounting Manager will be reporting directly to the Head of Finance and working very closely with the family owner. You will be asked to establish financial status by developing and implementing systems for auditing, collecting, analysing, verifying, and reporting financial information.

Consequently, they are looking to bring on board a dynamic Accounting Manager who can assist the business at a time of rapid growth and make a key contribution to the business.

Description

• Constructing weekly and monthly internal reports, with detailed commentary around commercial implications
• Lead and manage all aspects of the audit process, including planning, execution, and reporting. Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary adjustments to audit procedures.
• Continuously evaluate audit processes and procedures to identify opportunities for streamlining, automation, and enhancement. Drive initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness of audit activities.
• Adherence to local and international statutory requirements and communicating it to the head office as well
• A major element of the role will require responsibility for all tax matter hence the need to have strong background in Indonesia tax law
• Confirming financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses, coordinating collection, consolidation and evaluation of financial data
• Maintaining financial security by establishing internal controls
• Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and conclusions to senior management and relevant stakeholders. Prepare comprehensive audit reports and presentations for management review.
• preparing and completing action plans on productivity, quality, determining system improvements and implementing change

Profile

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance is required; postgraduate degree preferred
• A minimum of 5 years experience in Accounting
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
• Ideally you will need to be an assertive individual with vast knowledge of Financial Accounting
• Ideally you need to have a Professional Accounting Qualification
• Ideally you need to be a hands on individual
• Willing to work in North Jakarta area
• Ideally you will have begun your career in a top tier audit firm before making the move into industry. This is not a learning position
