Job purpose:
Serve as custodian of student academic records; providing the necessary services which facilitate class and room scheduling, student registration for classes, collection and maintenance of grade information, student performance monitoring, academic eligibility determination, and a variety of other services related to student records.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Provides excellent services to the students
- Organizes and administer the students’ records, registration and graduation functions, including transcript evaluations
- Performs the coordination, the evaluation and the certification of graduation applications and oversee the complete graduation process
- Liaises with University partners
- Cultivates good relationships with students, and addresses their needs in administration-related matters and top-up degree programme as well as career development
- Responds to inquiries, from parents and/or students, the public and other educational institutions.
- Manages and oversees the student enrollment and deferment status, and generate a termly Enrollment Report
- Oversees Academic Timetable planning
- Ensures efficiency of the Administration and Student Services Department
- Any ad-hoc tasks and duties assigned by superior or top management
Requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
- Have sense of urgency in meeting deadline
- Possess good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
- Dynamic with pleasant disposition
KPIs:
- To ensure weekly completion for tasks
- To ensure the team monitors the attendance of students (International Student at 90% attendance and Local Student at 75% attendance) and to issue warning letters accordingly
- To ensure timely payment of Course Fees and other collectable academic fees by students and follow-up on delayed payments
- To ensure timely exercise of Student Progression and TEVAL reports
- To prepare, issue and sign on Letter of Acceptance and Student Contract
- To ensure timely preparation and issuance of Certificates/Diplomas
- To ensure timetables are planned before Week 12 and are disseminated to all students before commencement of term
