CORE PURPOSE:
Responsible for developing strategies and tactics to boost the School’s reputation and bring a higher number of students, deploying successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution and experimenting with various organic and paid acquisition channels. Activities may encompass market research and analysis (gathering market insights to inform the strategic direction of the School and to enhance the School’s brand on a national and international scale), branding (working with the Communications Manager), marketing and stakeholder management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Essential:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management or relevant course certification.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in strategic and tactical marketing management, with a minimum 2 years of Managerial Level experience.
- Strong track record building marketing plans, crunching numbers – ideally ability to extract data and apply statistical models. Strategic thinking and planning with a hands-on mentality.
- Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate.
- Creativity and an ability to produce innovative and original ideas. A sense of aesthetics, elegance with ethics, a love for great copy and witty communication, excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to discuss and persuade different levels, including senior management, to align on objectives and action on targets.
- Ability to do campaign management and analysis including budget management.
- Proven skills in brand development and positioning, competitor analysis, market research analysis, placing and monitoring content, website and social media management.
- An understanding of the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement.
- Must be able to work at a fast paced working environment and work well under pressure.
- Excellent people skills, organisational and leadership abilities.
- Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office and Google Suite).
Desirable:
- Experience in setting up and optimising Google Adwords campaigns.
- Knowledge about international education is preferred.
- Proven track record in stakeholder management and in overcoming the typical obstacles especially in the context of international education.
- Solid knowledge of digital marketing analytics tools.
