Job Description
Working with the SEA Project Manager, SEA Project Lead will lead key Supply Chain initiatives for SEA. He or she will also act as a single point of contact for regional programs related customers and ensure that those customer initiatives are deployed and executed flawlessly within SEA markets. He/ She will facilitate monthly Supply Chain performance review with SEA Supply Chain LTs. SEA Project Lead will also serve as an owner of building and deploying various data analytics solutions to quickly identify insights to drive improvement related to customers, compliance, cost and people. He/ she will map out sophisticated business processes to serve as reference for development of data analytics solutions and advocates for business process simplification where appropriate to deliver robust and efficient outcome . He/ She will act as a link between the technological and non-technological departments to understand the demands of non-IT departments and carefully plan solutions for them.
The Key responsibilities are:
- To hold the cross-functional team accountable for developing and delivering the approved projects within budget, timeline, and scope
- To collaborate with global/ regional program leads to deploy critical initiatives related to SEA countries
- To propose, implement and maintain full cycle of analytics activities in support of business requirements: data acquisition, integration within data lake, design and development of analytics solutions, structures, and visuals
- To drive Supply Chain performance improvement by defining, crafting and developing processes, technologies and tools in support of meaningful metrics analytics and setting some governance to ensure timely delivery of improvement plans
- To work closely with business partners to understand new requirements, propose and implement solutions in support of Supply Chain analytics capabilities.
- To work with Regional IT, Regional data analytics team to implement and activate analytics capabilities, maximizes synergies and leverage opportunities from data, development, technologies and process point of view
- To work across business functions to understand interdependencies and have a good understanding of all key functions and associated data needs
- To act SME of Project Management and Agile methodology, supporting country project managers to lead and execute local projects successfully
Qualifications
- University Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, Statistics, Business.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in various Supply Chain functions and 1+ years in IT space specializing in Analytics, Insights generation and Data architecture.
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organization is essential for success.
Other skills required:
- Ability to lead the projects and hold the cross-functional team accountable for delivering project objectives
- Proven skill in collaboration within and across organizations, globally and at all organizational levels
- Experience with leading / being part of projects utilizing Agile or other project management methodologies with shown success
- Ability to assemble, analyze, and evaluate data and to drive appropriate recommendations and decisions to the Business partners and the Project Team
- Demonstrable experience with relational databases and data visualization tools (Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI) is required
- Familiarity with SAP
- Ability to rapidly understand business requirements, communicate expectations to multi- functional development teams, document data findings that can be easily understood is required.
- Vision to understand and propose how various data sets fit together for further analysis and visualization in support of business analytics capabilities
- Ability to lead and influence others in a matrixed organization is required.
- Knowledge of IT and business data and analytics processes, including standard methodologies of the industry
