As the Chief Engineer at Topgolf Jakarta, you will work alongside the Head of Engineering to lead the team in maintaining our venues and grounds at a top-tier level. Your role encompasses overseeing equipment repair and replacement, managing building maintenance, and supervising the Engineering team's development and operations. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth functioning of all systems and machinery.
HOW YOU’LL DO IT:
Pre-opening:
- Familiarize yourself with Topgolf Jakarta’s venue, systems, and processes.
- Coordinate with relevant personnel for pre-opening equipment setup.
- Oversee the defect list and follow up on necessary actions.
- Ensure the accuracy of MEP systems before building handover.
- Take responsibility for system commissioning with test reports.
Post-opening:
- Support the Head of Engineering in maintaining the maintenance department's operations.
- Oversee the monitoring, repair, and replacement of facilities shop equipment, systems, games, and outfield targets.
- Monitor golf hitting bays and outfield targets to ensure smooth operations.
- Implement energy-efficient measures to reduce costs.
- Prioritize and efficiently address maintenance requests.
- Maintain a preventive maintenance schedule for optimal venue conditions.
- Manage spare parts, maintenance suppliers, and equipment inventory.
- Delegate tasks and ensure their completion.
- Conduct training for Team Members on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety regulations.
- Monitor venue grounds, landscape, and guest areas for a pleasant experience.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Five years’ experience in building maintenance, preferably in a hotel or related industry.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a head or assistant Chief Engineer in a similar environment.
- Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical, HVAC, waste, mechanical systems, and kitchen equipment.
- Proficiency in using tools, equipment, materials, chemicals, and products safely.
