- Oversees and supervises site reconnaissance activities to ensure that all required data are procured within the approved schedule, timeline, and safety protocols.
- Participates in the exploration stage of new projects which will include interacting with LGUs and IPs on-site to explain and help them understand the development and effects of the renewable power projects in their respective communities
- Prepares the Design Criteria based on the preliminary OODR (Owner’s Operation and Design Requirement), project location, boundary maps, topographic maps, aerial photographs, hydrology data, geology and geotechnical studies, and all related engineering reports.
- Communicates with the draftsmen to deliberate the concepts and facilities that the Project Development Team is considering and to resolve design issues as they arise.
- Analyzes design issues and ensures corrective action is taken. Makes design recommendations to solve technical and non-technical issues.
- Oversee change in the design and updates in the drawings and presentations, as necessary, in close coordination with the engineering designers to ensure compliance to quality and timeline.
- Works closely with third-party consultants in the provision of civil engineering designs for a renewable power project during the conduct of the pre-development and development stage
