We are looking for great people to fill this vacant position of ConstructionSite Manager
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Oversee and coordinate the work of the construction team, including contractors, subcontractors, and laborers.
- Ensure that safety regulations and protocols are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor the quality of workmanship and materials to ensure that the project meets specified standards and codes.
- Manage project finances, track expenses, and make adjustments to stay within budget.
- Create and manage project schedules, making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring that the project progresses smoothly.
Requirement :
- A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is often preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction or project management, with a proven track record of successfully completing projects.
- Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and industry-specific software and tools is crucial. Knowledge of building codes and regulations is also important.
- Strong leadership and communication skills are necessary to manage and coordinate a construction team effectively.
- Must be able to identify and address issues that arise during construction, finding practical solutions to keep the project on track.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to enforce safety protocols on-site is vital for the well-being of the team and project success.
- Proficiency in budgeting and cost control is essential to ensure the project stays within financial constraints.
- Effective scheduling and time management skills are required to meet project deadlines.
- Maintaining accurate project records, including reports, plans, and progress updates, is crucial for accountability and decision-making.
- Construction projects can be unpredictable, so Site Managers need to adapt to changing circumstances and make quick decisions.
