Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food ingredients according to restaurant recipes.
- Cutting, cleaning and measuring ingredients with precision.
- Responsible for cooking various dishes according to restaurant standards.
- Serving dishes with good aesthetics and hygiene.
- Ensure the quality and flavor of food is in line with restaurant standards.
- Strictly follow recipes to achieve consistent results.
- Work closely with other chefs and the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicating needs and order changes effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including maintenance of equipment and cooking areas.
- Follow sanitation and food safety protocols.
- Ensure that dishes are prepared quickly to meet customer needs.
- Contribute to the efficiency and speed of service in the kitchen.
- Monitor food ingredient stocks and notify management of ordering needs.
- Keep inventory organized and sufficient.
- Work closely with other chefs, cooks and kitchen staff to achieve common goals.
- Responsive to direction and feedback from the management team.
- Able to work under high pressure during peak hours.
- Understands the restaurant menu and can provide information to customers.
- Perform regular checks on kitchen equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance.
