Job Description
- Prepare and ensure ingredients, utensils, garnishes and cleanliness of all kitchen areas in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure to be ready for operational activities.
- Ensure and carry out the process of cleaning ingredients and storing ingredients in accordance with food safety standards for Ingredients storage.
- Ensure and perform the process of cleaning kitchen utensils after use and storing kitchen utensils after completion of operations in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Process ingredients to be processed and make customer orders according to recipe standards and ensure accurate and timely order processing.
- Ensure that all existing stock is in accordance with par stock for each type of item and stored in accordance with predetermined storage standards.
- Check the shelf life and expiration date of inventory products and place accurate orders for inventory products.
Job Requirement
- Candidate must be at least high school graduate with at least 2 years experience or possess a Diploma Degree with 1 year experience (fresh graduate are welcome to apply) from culinary / hospitality / other related background.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skill.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent time management and comfortable to work under pressure handling the demands of high-volume kitchen.
- Strong attention on details.
- Familiar with western cuisine.
- Proficient with kitchen equipment and utilities.
- Knowledge on food safety is a must (min HACCP).
