- Spend Analysis and Control :
- Help investigate weekly/Monthly dashboard of spending, and highlight opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze cost data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize company spending.
- Support analyst and commentary of drivers behind variances, month-to-month vs prior year, and forecast and provide the annual budget. Suggest improvements for effective and efficient budget consumption.
- Review production variances (COGM) (Budget/Standard Cost vs Actual Cost) with management and help drive to root cause.
- Monitors day-to-day Opex / Capex spending on key categories including maintenance, supplies, and consumables, and supports company initiatives to reduce spending.
2. KPI and Financial Management :
- Review weekly KPI data with management, understand trends, and help analyze root causes.
- Ensure new KPIs are correctly implemented in line with company standards.
- Develop SOP for some improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and address cost-related issues quickly
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance project Cost Control methodologies and tools
- Establish and maintain close relationships with various stakeholders
3. Forecast
- Help prepare forecasts and the annual budget for the Company.
- Support preparation of the budget, forecasts, and monthly bridges.
- Review with management and ensure comprehension of the forecast.
4. Asset safeguarding :
- Perform inventory cycle counts / Stock opname by monthly and period-end physical in line with Company instructions, document results, and suggest improvements.
- Attend daily operations meetings and present financial results to ensure the management team is aligned with the performance of the company.
- Ensure robust financial controls are in place and are following financial policies.
Requirements :
- 4-5 years of experience in Cost Control / Budgeting / Management Accountant minimum in Supervisor Level or above / (preferably in F&B or in Plantation / Mining / Automotive or Japan Manufacturing industry-related companies is open to apply).
- Preferably CIMA / or Green Belt Lean Six Sigma, minimum Yellow Belt Lean Six Sigma.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (is a must) / Power BI, and PowerPoints, able to create Dashboards.
- Experience with SAP, Negotiation, and presentation Skills.
- Good analytical skills, proficiency in using spreadsheets to extract, compile, analyze, and interpret data, meticulous and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A good team player, with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Easily adapt to new environments, and having Yes or Can do /Positive Attitude, & Honest.
- Easily adapt to high-pressure working environments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of finance and management systems; able to create SOP and internal control framework and its implementation.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
