Job description:
- Order Booking and Tracking: Arrange bookings with airliners, overseas agency, and/or all related parties. Monitor and track the status of customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and providing updates as necessary.
- Client Communication: Interact with customers to address inquiries, provide updates on shipments, and resolve issues or concerns related to shipment.
- Customer Support: Assist customers in booking air cargo shipments, providing quotes, and ensuring their needs are met throughout the shipping process.
- Problem Resolution: Manage and resolve customer inquiries, operational challenges, and issues related to shipment
- Document Preparation: Coordinate with shipping document staff, prepare and review various documents, including bills of lading, air waybills, customs forms, and manifests.
- Compliance: Ensure that all documentation complies with IATA/FIATA regulations, international trade regulations, customs requirements, and industry standards.
- Data Entry: Accurately enter shipment data into relevant systems and databases.
- Compliance: Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, security procedures, and industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments, including operations, sales, and finance, to ensure seamless air freight or sea freight services and customer satisfaction.
- Reporting: Generate reports related to shipment documentation, CUSTOMER SERVICE activities, and performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a diploma or bachelor’s degree from any field. Aviation, Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in air freight CUSTOMER SERVICE and documentation or a similar role.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Indonesia.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and data entry.
- Proficiency in using office software, document management systems, and CUSTOMER SERVICE tools.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Ms. Office and relevant software tools.
- Certification in International Trade, Export Documentation, or a related field may be beneficial but is not mandatory.
