Job Description
Get to know the Role:
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for translating large data sets into insightful business recommendations for the team to work on in order to create impact for our performance in country. You will lead the whole data retrieval and analysis, and work with other functions to gather input and provide insights for the team.
The Day-to-Day Activities:
- You will work with large data sets and present business recommendations with high efficiency and accuracy.
- You will be initiating, creating, and maintaining reports and dashboards covering all aspects of the business
- You will identify key metrics and datasets to evaluate the impact of our initiatives.
- You will have a role to identify optimization opportunities in our databases and report systems, and will be a key enabler for data-driven decision making.
- You will work closely with different team members to continuously improve business models, perform analysis to understand trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Hypothesis based data-driven problem solving approach
- High ownership and driven to learn new skills and deliver results
- Effective written and spoken communication skills both in Bahasa & English
Qualifications
The Must-Haves
- At least 2 years of analytical experience conjugated with business acumen, preferably in the e-commerce, the Internet industry, or consulting.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering or other quantitative subjects
- Ability to work with large and complex data sets including collect, organize & analyze large datasets with attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced knowledge of analytical tools such as database querying (SQL, Presto, Hive), visualization and reporting tools (Tableau, PowerBI) and programming languages (Python, R)
- Fast-learner, versatile, self-driven, detail-oriented and collaborative
- Excellent communication skills to translate analytics specificities for all audiences
- High ownership and driven to learn new skills and deliver results
- Full professional working proficiency in English [and in Local Language] is required
