About The Job
- Plan, develop, execute and periodically adjust comprehensive Rooms, C&E/Events, F&B, Lifestyle marketing strategies and programs in support of hotel strategic priorities and key performance indicators addressing business to business and business to consumer profitable target audiences.
- Manage the hotels marketing budget annually, supporting the team's KPI targets.
- Proactively interact with Jumeirah Corporate/Regional Sales and Marketing teams on development and deployment of marketing programs that support hotel customer acquisition and retention tactics.
- Work directly with Jumeirah Group's loyalty department to support member enrolment, relevant benefits, redemption, reward and overall recognition within the hotel.
- Work with commercial colleagues to develop marketing initiatives that measurably increase revenue from room nights as incremental revenue from business extensions including spa, retail and resort activities.
- Manage hotels agency relationships (advertising, graphic design, printing, promotional events) to educate and ensure that these partners truly understand and can maximize the value of the Jumeirah brand.
- Identify and execute specific competitive and customer insight projects to improve the understanding of the customer, the level of the overall guest experience, and revenue generating, product/service innovations.
- Work with Group e-commerce and distribution team to develop innovative/profitable digital Rooms marketing strategies, website optimization, online social marketing and revenue generating Digital Marketing programs including pay-per-click and e-mail campaigns.
- As a Brand champion, ensure hotel alignment with Jumeirah Brand Strategy; this includes bringing the Jumeirah brand to life among colleagues and customers alike.
- Strong knowledge of all media forms, consumer research and marketing campaign development/management.
- Market planning, Project management, basic accounting, strong negotiation skills and clear understanding of ROI analysis
- Proficiency in new media/Digital Marketing and distribution
- Analytical focus with strong quantitative & budget management skills
- Creative and a critical trained eye for creative review
- Technical understanding of photography, film, rich media
