Electric Vehicle (EV) Maintenance Technician

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Electric Vehicle (EV) Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our fleet of Electric Vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EV technology, a commitment to safety, and a passion for sustainable transportation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and Repair: Perform diagnostics on EVs to identify and resolve issues with electric motors, battery packs, charging systems, and other EV-specific components.

Regular Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance checks and services on EVs, including software updates, battery conditioning, and replacement of wear-and-tear parts.

Technical Support: Provide technical support to the EV users. Offer guidance and troubleshooting assistance for any EV-related queries or issues.

Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with industry safety standards and company policies. Stay updated on the latest EV safety protocols and procedures.

Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance work, repairs, and parts inventory. Utilize maintenance management systems to track vehicle histories and schedule future services.

Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with other team members and departments. Participate in training programs to stay abreast of the latest EV technology and repair techniques.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer concerns, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction with our EV maintenance services.

Qualifications:

• A technical degree or certification in automotive engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Electric Vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Strong understanding of EV systems, including battery technology and electric drivetrains.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing training and development.
