Responsibilities :
• Pipe System Design:
• Collaborate with the engineering team to design and develop piping systems for various marine applications.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and classification society requirements.
• Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for pipe systems.
• Installation and Fabrication:
• Oversee the installation and fabrication of piping systems on ships and vessels.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure accurate and efficient installation processes.
• Conduct inspections to ensure the quality and integrity of pipe installations.
• Material Selection and Procurement: • Evaluate and select appropriate materials for pipe systems, considering factors such as durability, corrosion resistance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely and accurate sourcing of materials.
• Quality Control:
• Implement quality control measures to ensure that all pipe systems meet specified standards.
• Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve any issues related to piping systems.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the shipyard team.
