Key Responsibilities
- Assessing the feasibility of methods, material selection, available tooling, and final fabrication.
- Creating design drawings to support the Engineering Department managed by the Fabrication Department.
- Generating upgrade and modification drawings for Workshop Yard 2.
- Compiling Material Take Off (MTO).
- Developing fabrication method/sequence drawings for both tender and execution stages:
- Load out drawings
- Trial assembly drawings
- Load test drawings
- Stowage plan drawings
- Lifting plan drawings
- Mooring plan drawings
- Nesting plan drawings
- Shop drawings
- General Arrangement drawings
Requirement:
- Shall have an Associate's Degree/Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the Fabrication, Oil & Gas, and Construction Industry.
- Strong knowledge of technical drawings: Structural, Piping & Instrument Diagrams, Layout Plan view, Hazardous Classification areas, Single-Line Diagrams.
- Proficient in using 2D & 3D AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, SolidWorks, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Presentation), and Adobe Editor.
- Possess strong communication abilities and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in business English communication, both written and spoken.
- Must adhere to working under the instruction of the Fabrication Project Engineer and Fabrication Construction Engineer.
