Job Responsibilities
- Approving invoices: Reviewing and authorizing invoices, ensuring proper approval and accurate coding in the general ledger.
- Cash flow management: Monitoring and managing cash flows to optimize investments and meet financial obligations.
- Audit liaison: Coordinating with external auditors for financial, compliance, and tax audits.
- Internal controls: Establishing and monitoring company policies and internal controls, with a focus on spending controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.
- Budgeting: Assisting or taking the lead in creating budgets, incorporating historical data to support financial planning and forecasting.
- Debt management: Administering loan agreements and overseeing collections from customers.
- Financial strategy: Developing financial strategies that minimize risks and identify opportunities for growth.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with local laws, tax provisions, industry regulations, and financial standards.
- Tax advisory: Handling engagements related to GST, Service Tax, VAT, Customs, including appeals, tax restructuring, and providing tax advisory and consulting services.
- Customs matters: Assisting in obtaining customs duty facilities, managing pre - entry classification, and handling related customs and trade matters.
- Reporting and analysis: Providing accurate financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Cost savings: Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiencies across the organization.
- People management: Mentoring and overseeing the accounting and financial staff.
- External reporting: Preparing tax and financial statements for the company.
- Transfer pricing: Ensuring compliance with Indonesian transfer pricing legislation and advising on maximizing cost reallocations.
- Stakeholder management: Providing guidance to company managers on operational activities based on a deep understanding of the business.
Job Requirements
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of PSAK (Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards).
- Proficiency in accurate accounting software.
- Experience 12 years in preparing financial statements.
- Ability to develop financial dashboards and visualizations.
- Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies such as DOE, PDCA, DMAIC, 8 step A3, 8D, 5Why, Fishbone diagrams, and Pareto charts.
- Analyzing and interpreting provisions under the Tax Regulations Harmonization Law ("HPP Law") and Indonesia Customs Law to minimize penalties and audits.
- Obtaining customs and trade facilities knowledge.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
