Job Responsibilities:
Supervise the migration of accounting functions, particularly General Accounting roles in Penang, and integrate them into the team structure. Lead the planning, operations, and administration of corporate and international accounting functions within the Shared Service environment. Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing processes for global entities in adherence to US GAAP, maintaining statutory financials appropriately.Implement effective internal controls, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and relevant international and local financial and tax reporting regulations. Uphold SOX compliance by following internal control requirements, keeping documentation updated, and providing recommendations as needed. Evaluate processes against industry benchmarks and facilitate process improvement initiatives within Shared Services.Actively engage with stakeholders to address challenges, recommend solutions, and drive improvements where necessary. Provide coaching and mentorship to team members and handle ad hoc assignments as required.Job Requirements:
