Head Of Accounting

We are an international management company, Farsight Villas & Hotels Management. Our main activities: marketing and full management of hotels, villas, guest houses and other real estate properties around the world.

We are looking for a Head of accounting to join our team in Bali. 

You will be working in our office that is located at Kuta region. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax legislation 
• 5 or more years of experience in a small to medium-sized organization managing the finance/accounting function  in the real estates, hospitality services industry 
• Experienced leader with drive, energy and a growth mindset
• Strong Risk and Control understanding
• Prior experience of leading through system, process or cultural change
• Excellent communicator, able to influence and articulate complex issues at all levels 
• CPD qualification is a must. CPA will be an added advantage.
• Comfortable and familiar working in a small complex environment
• Highly proactive and does not wait for instructions
• Strong communication in English and Bahasa (orally and written)

Responsibilities:

• Lead full cycle accounting (general accounting, budgeting, taxation,salary) and month close procedures, including delivering on bank and management reporting in a timely manner.
• Lead annual financial statement audit conducted by a public accounting firm.
• Design and lead quarterly balance sheet reconciliation processes.
• Manage and ensure compliance with tax reporting, including year-end state & federal income tax, ongoing state & local sales tax, as well as other business tax filings.
• Review monthly, quarterly and year end closing, and ensure accounting activities are following a timely and accurate manner.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• Lead other ad-hoc projects as needed
• Other tasks as assigned.
