Dyatmika is an established school with an excellent reputation for academic success. The school opened in 1995, catering for students aged 3 to 18 years and is known as a leading school in Bali. Students leave Dyatmika well-equipped for further learning in the world's top universities and in their lives beyond school. Dyatmika is a not-for-profit school meaning that all income is invested in the education of the students and developing the quality of the school's facilities and resources. The School is a Cambridge-accredited international school with a beautiful campus overlooking rice fields and the ocean.
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, experienced and committed Head of Primary School, from August 2024. The successful candidate will contribute to the further development of the school, leading with warmth and humility.
The successful candidate will:
Have a strong track record of successful leadership within Primary Schools (this position is open to current Heads, but also to experienced primary leaders who are aspiring Heads) Have excellent communication and interpersonal skillsHave the ability to inspire colleagues and engage with parents Be able to think and plan strategically providing clear, actionable outcomes to develop the Primary SchoolBe a role model for other colleagues and be prepared to contribute to the Extracurricular programme and community events.Applicants for the position should:hold a Masters degree (an Indonesian requirement for a position at this level)have a relevant degree and a full teaching qualification together have experience in leveraging educational technologies to benefit engagement and student outcomesbe an experienced primary practitioner with a minimum of 5 years of relevant teaching experience (Indonesian immigration requirements)be less than 60 years young (as stipulated by Indonesian Immigration) at the end of a second contract. This is not how Dyatmika views the vast experience that teachers in this age bracket bring to teaching, but we are bound by regulations.
