Role Description

We are looking for a Head of Technology to lead the technology department and oversee the development and implementation of technology strategies and solutions for our company. This position is full-time, onsite in our Sleman office, and reports directly to the COO. The Head of Technology will collaborate with other departments, such as Sales and Marketing, to align technology initiatives with overall business goals. Head of Technology responsibilities are :

• Strategic Tech Leadership: Lead visionary initiatives in aquaculture technology. Execute a technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire our tech and production team. Cultivate a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Product Development Oversight: Oversee aquaculture tech solutions, emphasizing electrical/mechatronic engineering principles. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for business alignment.
• Engineering Integration: Apply advanced engineering to enhance tech solutions. Collaborate with manufacturing or production teams for efficiency and scalability.
• Software/App Development Leadership: Lead the creation of user-friendly software/apps. Ensure seamless integration of software and hardware.
• Innovation and Research: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Quality Assurance and Scalability: Implement rigorous quality assurance processes. Ensure scalability and reliability of tech solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of progressive tech leadership experience.
• Strong technical background with programming skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven success in leading teams to strategic objectives.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive and innovative mindset.
• Familiarity with aquaculture industry practices and challenges is an additional advantage.
