Responsibilities
• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests• Set tables according to type of event and service standards• Answer questions on menu selections• Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, and order details• Communicate meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day• Complete closing duties, restocking items, and turning off lights• Present accurate checks to guests and process payments• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Requirements
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance• Ability to manipulate objects of varying size and weight• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time• Ability to read and visually verify information• Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees• Adherence to quality expectations and standards
