Job Responsibilities
- Execute planned network maintenance activities efficiently.
- Implement network solutions according to the established plans.
- Provide rapid responses to network-related issues, promptly troubleshooting or escalating for resolution.
- Offer swift support for issues, whether network-related or not.
- Proactively review and identify potential issues in the network infrastructure to maintain a 99.99% uptime SLA.
- Evaluate the network infrastructure to identify opportunities for enhanced cost efficiency.
- Actively participate in implementation planning forums, minimizing impact on production uptime.
- Coordinate with network service providers for new WAN link installations, maintenance, and issue resolution.
- Ensure automatic failover capabilities for all network redundancies and HA links/devices.
- Collaborate with vendors for network infrastructure implementation, maintenance, and issue resolution.
- Consult with the Lead on implementation and maintenance plans.
- Create and maintain comprehensive network infrastructure documentation.
- Proactively enhance network infrastructure automation by implementing Infrastructure as Code.
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Network Engineer.
- Expertise in implementing and configuring network routing-switching devices, firewalls, load balancers, and WAF.
- Strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities.
- Deep understanding of advanced network concepts and best practices in network design architecture.
- Preferred certifications: CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructures.
