The Junior Sales Manager holds a pivotal support role within the sales department, tasked with managing and expanding volume negotiated rate accounts and coordinating group bookings. This position is instrumental in maintaining a consistent influx of business to Park South Hotel while delivering exceptional support to the sales team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Group Coordination: Take the lead in organizing group bookings, including small meetings. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their requirements, coordinating with relevant hotel departments, including food and beverage, to ensure a seamless experience. Gather pertinent information from various hotel systems and work with revenue team on group rate proposals, following up promptly with clients to finalize group business.
2. Volume Account Management: Identify and oversee volume negotiated rate accounts. Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are addressed promptly and efficiently.
3. Documentation Management: Efficiently organize and maintain all documentation related to volume negotiated accounts and group bookings. Ensure that all necessary paperwork, including contracts and agreements, is up-to-date and readily accessible.
4. Prospecting: Reach out to government representatives, associations, and social groups to generate business for the hotel. Review information on sales meetings, conventions, and training classes held by organizations for potential hotel business.
5. Client Engagement: Provide exceptional support to the Director of Sales by actively participating in follow-up calls and correspondence, addressing details related to volume negotiated rate accounts and group bookings.
6. Account Servicing: Collaborate closely with the Director of Sales to support existing key corporate accounts. Assist in the creation and execution of annual business plans to meet and exceed sales goals.
7. Sales Support: Offer essential support to the sales team, contributing to the creation of rate proposals and agreements. Assist in coordinating sales activities.
8. Complaint Resolution Address and resolve any issues or complaints from volume negotiated rate accounts and group bookings promptly and professionally. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction.
