Job Role
As a legal manager, your job duties include drafting and reviewing contracts, ensuring effective management of legal and contractual risks, providing legal advisory services, managing the Legal Department effectively and efficiently, searching for relevant regulatory documents, and providing legal advice to company management. This job requires leadership skills, strong negotiating skills, and excellent communication skills.
Main responsibilities
- Providing legal assistance with regard to prepare, drafting, review, negotiate, and revise any legal documents (agreements, confirmation letter, amendments/addendums, side letters.) related to the assigned business units.
- Legal Document Repository, Managing and overseeing the company's commercial contracting purposes, including contract forms, legal contracts repository, and any collateral documents and certificate.
- Assist and advise to the assigned business units on any legal operations and contract matters, but not limited to provide assistance on contract negotiations with the partners/vendors.
- Research and due diligence for the purposes of agreement drafting.
- Handle any day-to-day legal operations and contract matters of the assigned business units.
- Support the legal operation team and provide the team with guidance/assistance where needed.
- Identify legal aspect to company business and able to extract any regulation and provide its translation (Indonesia-English and v.v).
- Keeping Confidentiality of Legal Documents.
- Document editing and proofreading before delivery.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor of Law Degree (S1); A master degree is a plus but not essential.
- Understanding of Civil Law.
- 3 to 5 years of working experience, preferably in a private legal sector or a similar position in a Financial Industry.
- Good command in English.
- Conceptual & analytical thinking
- Can-do attitude, positive attitude, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
- Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to establish effective communication within the team and with the business units.
- Proactive, flexible, and detailed-oriented.
- Active Member of Legal Community such as PERADI or INI.
- Having a Good Networking to related Institution, Government, others.
