Manager Public Affairs

Be the bridge between key Government stakeholders and CARSOME. Also responsible for coordinating, executing, and implementing key partnerships/ projects with Government stakeholders

Your Day-to-Day

• Form strategic partnerships with Government stakeholders to further the national agenda. For example, digitalisation of the automotive industry , strengthening human capital development, and enhancement of the tech and innovation ecosystem
• Build, maintain, and enhance CARSOME’s network/relationship with relevant Government stakeholders
• Help to identify, arrange, and coordinate visits/ tours/ meetings/ engagements between Carsome and key Govt stakeholders such as Ministers, senior Civil Servants, heads of Govt Agencies, regulatory bodies, and etc.
• Coordinate between relevant internal depts in Carsome to ensure that there is adequate support and preparation for the engagements and ensure that the engagements go smoothly.
• Remove bottlenecks to growth for CARSOME by engaging relevant regulatory stakeholders. For example, licensing issues, enforcement action, crisis management, and etc.

Your Know-How

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree from a Reputable University
• Have leadership skill and interpersonal skill
• Agile person and have Can Do Attitude
• Strong networking and project management background.
• Prior experience in Government (Ministries, Agencies, GLCs, GLICs, etc), Government-related consultancies, or Government related roles in the private sector (Public policy, Gov Relations, Public Affairs) would be appreciated.
• Proficiency in English and the Indonesian language, networking, persuasion, presentation, communications, coordination, execution, and implementation
• Solid understanding of how to network, communicate Carsome’s position and interests, and coordinate the execution of partnerships
